Do you and your family want something fun to do during Valentineâs Day weekend? Come to the Sandestin Gumbo Festival on February 14th and February 15, 2020. Happening at the Village of Baytowne Wharf happens to be one of the largest events in the area. This year will be the 31st year it has been going on and is one to not miss. You and the family can enjoy some excellent gumbo from several different Gulf Coast Restaurants during this event. And there will be other activities that the kids can take part in too.
Harborwalk Village Mardi Gras
February in Destin Beach is one of the best times to visit becauseof the Mardi Gras events happening around town. On Saturday, February 22, 2020 from2:00 pm to 7:00 pm is where your family can come and enjoy the Mardi GrasParade & Pawdi Gras. This may not be New Orleans, but it will be just asfun as if you were watching the parade on Bourbon Street, but more familyfriendly. There will be other fun events going on through the day that you wonâtwant to miss either!
1st Annual Shrimp & Grits Festival
What is vacationing to the Gulf Coast then to head to the 1st Annual Shrimp& Grits Festival. Happening at Destinâs Harbor is the newestfamily-friendly event that will come with some pretty amazing food and drinkson the coast. There will be many local restaurants as they will be competing forhaving the best shrimp and grits on the harbor. There will be liveentertainment, delicious food, and even a zone just for the kids to enjoy. Theevent is happening on Saturday, February 29th from 12:00 pm to 4:00pm and is one you may want to check out with the family.
