This year has already been a little different compared to previous years, but Destin Beach is still going to continue its traditions. Fireworks

While many other towns around the country have canceledtheir annual fireworks, the city of Destin has not. This year you will be ableto see the fireworks over the East Pass around 9:00 pm CDT. This happens to bethe City of Destinâs 34^th Annual Independence Day Fireworks and is onenight that you donât want to miss. If there happens to be any inclement weather,then the fireworks will be on Sunday, July 5^th, at the same time.Bring the family and enjoy the show in the sky this year!

Get a Little Crabby

While this isnât an event, but itâs a fun day out with thefamily. Head on over to Crab Island located here in Destin. Crab Island is oneof the areaâs best-known fun things to do on the water that the locals love tovisit, and so do our guests. Over at Crab Island is where you and the familycan float the day away or a few hours away while having fun on the inflatables.This 4^th of July vacation, make it a fun-filled day trip to theisland and soak up the rays. Grab a drink or a little snack, all while you areenjoying seeing the kids have the time of their lives!

Camp for the Kids

If you are looking for something the kids can do while onvacation and still have a great time, then allow them to enjoy the Half-DaySummer Camp. Happening over at the Destin Community Center from 9 am to 12 pmMonday â" Friday is where the camp will be at. Every morning there will be funactivities, crafts, swim time, and more. Get some things done at your vacationrental, or just sit back and enjoy a little beach time alone. Think of the funthings the kids will get to do, and some of their crafts will make great souvenirs.
