Destin Fishing Rodeo
Do you like to fish when you vacation with the family at the beach each year? If yes, let us share a little about the 73rd Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo. Starting on October 1st and ending on October 31st, the docks behind AJâs Seafood and Oyster House will be where the weigh-ins will happen. Many will be fishing from a boat if they own one, but there are many other ways that you can enter this rodeo. This year, you can fish from the pier or land, charter boats, kayaks, or paddleboards. If youâre not into fishing, why not enter the Destin Rodeo Fun Run on October 8th? Think of the new memories youâll make as you enjoy this fishing rodeo with the family!
Destin Seafood Festival
Another fun thing you can participate in is the Destin Seafood Festival this fall. This year, it will take place Friday, October 6th through Sunday, October 8th, 2023, at the Destin Harbor Boardwalk and HarborWalk Village. Some of the things youâll find here are fresh seafood, turkey legs, wraps, and so many more food choices. There is a new VIP Ticket option that you can enjoy called âœCall to Chef,â� where you can sample items from local chefs along the Emerald Coast. Bring your appetite, dancing shoes, and money as you explore the Destin Seafood Festival.
Perfect Hues Art Festival
Perfect Hues Art Festival is happening this Labor Day weekend and is one you canât miss out on. Happening at Baytowne Wharf is where youâll find this fun art festival loaded with a lot of talent. Beginning on Friday, September 1st, at 5:00 p.m., you can enjoy some local artwork and live music, and we canât leave out the fireworks on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023. Admission is free to this event and is one that youâll want to check out as you shop around The Village with your family.
